cooked it for lunch and dinner...there are no words to describe how dissapointed and dejected i felt at my first attempt except dissapointed and dejected... :(
half a cup of soysauce later and everything was black... the folks liked it but then they had no idea that it was supposed to not be black, in fact they were surprised that dinner up there was actually the same thing as lunch.

hmm theres still something missing in the taste but YAY accomplished!

So while we were all in the city we had pancakes...AFTER waiting for naz and being exposed to old tan man ass...i really should have gotten a pancake. Thats the lesson ive learnt. Always have a pancake at a pancake place, or a pizza since its round as well. That farmers brunch was such a let down...

Also watched dreamgirls with naz and lesbi after we ate pancakes with mianh and ben...it received..mixed reviews. I liked it because i like that type of music but lol naz had no idea it was a musical and she doesnt even like jazz or rnb.
Jennifer Hudson was great...they should have made some of her solos a little bit shorter...especially that one where shes being all desperate and clingy and singing to no one, it lost its dramatic effect the longer it went on
but i liked the movie and still have 'i'm your dreamgirls' stuck in my head,  the only line of any of the songs i remember, complete with hand actions

So in conclusion thanks lesbi naz and mianh for coming to the city with me i appreciate it...next time you can choose the movie

I've been meaning to post this for a while so here we go...

thank you for my free box of krispy kremes international airport donut dude! which means altogether we got three DOZEN krispy kremes altogether...too bad we only kept one box to take home

i love getting unexpected freebies and or discounts...like the recent pizza girl who put through a voucher for something i didnt have a voucher for

i also finally finished watching Save the Last Dance for Me and it was good! got pretty seirous towards the end but still sweet...though why she just decided to disapear for a year because she had to use a wheelchair i really didnt get...i mean geez did she not realise people were wondering where the hell she was? though i did get the whole dramatic irony(?) of the whole situational reverse on the guy... and i thought the whole 'why didnt you tell me?' was gold since you know, she could have told him but that probably would have cut down the number of discs from 10 to 5

I love the concept behind this video. She got people to send her videos of them with three words saying what they would want, or what they would want to do if anything were possible. Honestly i don't even remember the song now, its good but its not really my type of music, but i love how human the video is

So i just got back from Jons house after his 20th bday get together and yes omg the wii is worth it. Its so small...tiny and sleek, its design really reminded me of the ipod with the whiteness and the sleekness. And its fun! Remember that shooting game on the original nintendo? Yeah we played a remake of the shooting game, so good and i got the ducks! I ace that game.

Yeah so in conclusion my plan stays. I'm totally buying a Wii in March when the ps3 comes out, so that i'll at least have something to make me feel better and inclusive of the current gen. It'l tide me over till i can afford a ps3 but at the same time I actually think that the Wii out of big three is going to be the most 'fun' to play with. I'm still getting a ps3 though, final fantasy sold me on that ages ago, and it's probably gonna be the bigger rpg platform anyway.

Also, i learnt how to deal poker tonite. I feel so pro. Well i'm sure dealers don't really say anything except 'check bet or fold' and that they don't pretend they're the crowd as well, i'm pretty sure they don't laugh at the losers and call the players tightasses for betting what...1 or 2 chips at a time...but still

And i got another bday present from jons! Awesome mate im so stoked. Pleasant and unexpected surprise

All in all a good way to finish a day

One more year and another opportunity for us so lets make the best of it! I hope that everyone goes into this year with good intentions and comes out with lots of good times to reminisce about in the years to come. I'm really excited about this year and very optimistic, it's gonna be a good year.

I'm never quite sure what to say to people who came through my checkouts...what if they don't celebrate Christmas? Will i offend them? More importantly, will they abuse me???  Well then Happy Holidays! Two days work gauranteed off when work can't call you in...awesome i can sleep in. Enjoy the cheer while it lasts before the sheen of Christmas and the afterglow of New Years years off on them, people should be like this all year round.

I hope the best for everyone this season, and all the time, have a safe one and enjoy. Soak it in, its got to last till next year

So its my birthday today

I celebrated it last night with a bbq at my place with the usual and it was great. That karaoke machine is so rigged though. I like having my birthday a little before Christmas, its an excuse for everyone to get together and this year i could actually afford to buy presents! I'm a working man now. And i blame it on my blossoming manliness (yes i'm sure thats a dichotomy) that i got such a low score that first song i sang, i totally would have been able to hit those 'i will always love you notes' last year.

And my workmates got me a present and card today! I had people saying happy birthday to me at different time all day today and yesterday as well when one of them knew she wasn't gonna see me today, lol when one of the customers heard he shook my hand and said happy birthday to me. I tell ya Christmas bring out all the nice customers, i haven't got pissed of or questioned my faith in humanity once the past 2 or 3 days. But where the hell is our Christmas music!? I'm totally getting into the Christmas spirit but i can't hear the music downstairs at all, what the hell Coles??? I've learnt the lyrics to the same songs for the past 6 months but now i can only hear christmas music when i go to the staff toilets?

So thank you everyone for your birthday wishes and presents! Love you long time! btw, im so proud of my prawns...NONE left! and lesbi can actually bake!
